LAS VEGAS – October 2, 2009 –The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada in cooperation with Temple Beth Shalom will host a special event Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, with Tuesdays with Morrie author Mitch Albom. The author will discuss his new novel, Have a Little Faith: A True Story, and host a reception.

This very special engagement kicks off with a VIP meet and greet at 6 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. Albom will speak about his new book and how it opened his eyes as he ventured into the lives of two extraordinary men who used faith to conquer the odds, forever linked by an unforgettable story.

“This is a story about believing in something and the two very different men who taught me how,” said Albom. “It took a long time to write. It took me on one journey, then another, to churches and synagogues, to the suburbs and the city, to the ‘us’ versus ‘them’ that divides faith around the world.”

Access to the VIP meet and greet, an autographed book and premier seating at the event come as a package available for a $100 donation. Reserved sanctuary seating is available to Jewish Community Center and Temple Beth Shalom members for $54 and $60 for non-members. General admission is $25 for JCC and TBS members and $30 for non-members.

To purchase tickets, please contact the JCC at (702) 794-0090.
