Just 18 players remain, and nine of them will be headed home when the Main Event continues at the World Series of Poker, presented by Jack Link’s Beef Jerky, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 9 p.m. on ESPN. For most of the players, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a finalist. Seven-time bracelet winner Phil Ivey has come close three times before, and finally breaks through to a final table along with eight others -- all after a world title and a life changing payday.
The tension is sure to be as high as the stakes with a top prize of $8.5 million on the line when the November Nine convenes Tuesday, Nov.10, for same-day coverage on ESPN.
ESPN’s coverage of the 2009 World Series of Poker from the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will air every Tuesday, at 9 p.m. ET through Nov. 10. Norman Chad and Lon McEachern call all the action.
